Beth Campbell
Beth Campbell is a New York interdisciplinary artist, exploring the self-conscious positioning in one’s identity and surroundings. She shows with Nicole Klagsbrun Gallery in New York and has had previous solo shows at Roebling Hall (NY), Sandroni Rey Gallery (LA) and Sala Diaz (TX). Campbell has participated in various museum shows including And Therefore I am at the Tang Museum in 2006, Open House at the Brooklyn Museum of Art in 2004, Hello My Name Is... at the Carnegie Museum of Art, Pittsburgh in 2002, and Greater New York at PS1 Contemporary Art Center in 2000. She has work included in the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Museum of Modern Art and the New Museum’s Altoids Curiously Strong Collection. Campbell’s art reviews have appeared in various publications including the New York Times, LA Times, Village Voice, Art on Paper, Sculpture Magazine, Art in America and Art Index.
