Daniel Granias received a BFA in Fine Arts and Teaching License in K-12 Art Education from the University of Iowa in 2009 and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Ceramics from the Oregon College of Art and Craft in 2012. He is a working ceramics artist in Portland, Oregon and a full-time production assistant at Mudshark Studios, LLC. His work focuses on soft and hard forms, internal anatomy, touch and intimacy, and social engagement across all age levels.
Learn moreGrace Hwang is an artist and educator with an MS Ed. in Museum Education at Bank Street College of Education in NY and a BA in Sociology and Education at UCLA. Her areas of research and work include interpretation and visual culture, gift economies, performance, the study of games, alternative education and dance.
Often working collaboratively with artists, non-artists and students of all ages, her work in the form of teaching, performance, exhibition and experience making has been included at Portland Art Museum, Museum of Contemporary Craft (OR), Open Engagement Conference (OR), Southern Exposure (SF), Center for Architecture Foundation (NY), SALT art space (NY), Museum of Modern Art Education Center (NY).
She is currently based in Portland as an MFA candidate in the Art and Social Practice Program at Portland State University.

Dr. Anderson has degrees in Linguistics from Harvard (AB) and University of Chicago (PhD). He is an expert in endangered languages and the structure and history of languages from across the globe. He has worked with speakers of endangered minority languages in their communities from every continent. He is the author of eleven books and more than eighty academic articles. Dr. Anderson is a National Geographic Society Fellow and was the subject of the critically acclaimed film The Linguists.

She is currently attending boarding school in Southern California at Idyllwild Arts Academy, where she is majoring in Visual Arts. She’s an active member of the community, painting two murals for Centennial High School, Interning at OSPIRG, and volunteering on the Gresham Youth Advisory Committee for Gresham CIty Council. Much of her work is influenced by politics and current affairs, often taking a propagandistic approach. She is a huge supporter of Street Art as an opportunity for the public’s opinion to be voiced, and believes in the power of the artist.

She moonlights as a rope bondage specialist and hypnotist who crushes men psychologically and then cackles maniacally and writes poetry about it.

Two time recipient of the Regional Arts & Culture Council Individual Projects Grant, her works have been showcased at local & regional festivals including Ten Tiny Dances, NW Folk Life Festival, & the Salem Library's "World of Music." As the Director of Studio 2@Zoomtopia, in SE Portland, she founded N.E.W. (New Expressive Works), an Artist in Residency Program. Ganesan also serves on RACC's Right Brain Initiative Board (Operating Committee).
