Although these are not PICA's programs or initiatives, we are honored to be able to utilize our platform as a vehicle to help share these opportunities, especially those that work to dissolve white supremacist culture in the United States. Join BNO Entertainment for a night of fun as we celebrate freedom, community, and unity! There will be local BIPOC-owned business booths, food vendors, nonprofits, live DJs, and a concert filled with local artists. There will also be a 21+ bar and activities for kids, as well as inflatables, a photo booth, and the Red Bull truck, among other things!
This Juneteenth event is a free community event open to all ages and focuses on celebrating freedom and building and fostering unity in our community. Bring your friends and family!
The Inaugural 8 Seconds Juneteenth Rodeo

The Juneteenth Rodeo exists to expose Pacific Northwest youth to the traditions, athleticism, and grit of Black cowboys in America. Through the rodeo and other yearly events, we will create a platform for Black cowboys to compete and gain exposure. Through these initiatives, we will encourage youths to explore their own passions and create the next generation of Black cowboys in our region.

Artist Talk with Julian Gaines at The Black Gallery

Ori Gallery is the brainchild of the creative duo Maya Vivas & Leila Haile. Together they seek to reclaim and redefine "the white cube" through amplifying the voices of Trans and Queer Artists of color, community organizing, and mobilization through the arts.
In addition to our rotating exhibitions, we also offer classes and workshops to the community for free or low-cost such as PoC figure drawing, Grant Writing for the People, Arts for Direct Action, and meet-ups for Queer and Trans creatives of color.
Donate to Black Resilience Fund's Juneteenth Campaign
Since 2020, Black Resilience Fund has organized its annual Juneteenth campaign, partnering with more than 100 small businesses each year. 25 households received an entire year of guaranteed basic income thanks to the success of our Juneteenth campaign: 754 donors. Donate $25, $50, or $100 in support of Black Resilience Fund's 2023 Juneteenth campaign.
