Support The Black Gallery
Powered by Don’t Shoot Portland, The Black Gallery is a Black owned and curated space focusing on promoting arts and education as a way to build community and support activist voices.
A solo exhibition by Isaka Shamsud-Din is now on view by appointment through July 5. On June 19, Shamsud-Din will give an artist talk at The Black Gallery (now sold out), with a public viewing to begin at 4:00 pm.

Celebrate Juneteenth with a free community concert! Friends of Noise rising star Zyanna opens for the legendary LaRhonda Steele. Doyagi food cart will be on site and Oregon Contemporary will be extending their gallery hours, so be sure to check out their 2024 Artists’ Biennial.
Donate to Albina Music Trust and Take the Albina Soul Walk
Albina Music Trust is the only full-service community archive in the United States, dedicated to documenting Portland's historic Albina music culture through oral history, media archivism, community engagement, and events. The Albina Soul Walk is a one-mile, self-guided audio tour that explores Albina's musical culture of the 1960s-1980s.
A Walk in My Shoes: A Celebration of Juneteenth
