What is a Ticket Bank?

PICA’s Ticket Bank is our new model for access that provides tickets for PICA programs to people who could otherwise not afford to attend. With our Ticket Bank, community members pool together to help broaden access to contemporary art.

How it Works

The Ticket Bank works through community accumulation. It works one contribution at a time, one event at a time, one ticket at a time, and one person at a time. You can think of it as BOGO — Buy One Give One — or as helping build an access reserve for future tickets.

Why Now?

Over the past few years, we’ve been working to deconstruct financial barriers for those who want to attend PICA events. (This is why most of our programming is free or sliding scale!) The Ticket Bank helps cover the cost of providing sliding-scale prices to those who need it most. 

How YOU can Contribute
