TBA:10 LATE NIGHT
Art Party
A hybrid of dancing, music, visual and performance art, and interaction, Art Party brings together disparate groups and artists in the name of ART and FUN. For its TBA debut, Art Party will gather a "best of" cast from Portland's underground art scene, and beyond.
Shannon Funchess and Bruno Coviello of LIGHT ASYLUM are Brooklyn's answer to the reemergence of the New Romantics. They have a penchant for walking on the dark side while carrying the torch to new dawns of rapturous, post-punk, and new wave sounds.
As Bronze, Brian Hock (Vanishing, DJ CLAWS), Joe (Night after Night) and Robert Spector (Spector Protector) bring their bizarro electro-tropical show Portland. The trio is infamous in the Bay Area for stunning visuals, hypnotic music, and on-stage performances that range from the mild to the horrific.
Weed Wolf features indie rock veterans Jenny Hoyston (Erase Errata, LESBIANS, Paradise Island) Nick Bindeman (Tunnels, Eternal Tapestry), and Rob Spector, performing under various guises with a rotating selection of instruments. Be prepared to be amused, surprised, and have your reality at least partially blown.
Matrimony is Timmy Straw and Sarah Faith Gottesdiener. Brought together by their mutual love of pop and hip hop, they present a multimedia performance of music, choreography, and video.
Painter, video artist, and speaker Jarrett Mitchell has held renegade demonstrations at national and international art events. For TBA:10, he will present new works including his celebrated Cigarettes and Yoga meditations.
