Maria Hassabi’s works are filled with iconic images that put forth - then push beyond - their initial connotations. With aesthetic precision, extreme physicality, and extended duration, the works create installations that push the limits of live performance. This workshop will investigate how a concept and specific “tasks” can be utilized as tools to initiate creativity.
