Why is this night so important?

Artists thrive when they can take risks. Fostering an environment for radical experimentation has been PICA's work for 30 years, and the vital contributions from this landmark fundraiser will help propel us into the next 30.

In the midst of a national turn towards censorship and slashed funding for the arts, institutional spaces like PICA—in our city and across the country—face an uphill climb. Portland needs PICA, and we need your generosity.

As our biggest giving event of the year, Obsidian will be a lively party with a paddle raise. It's an eclectic, guaranteed fun celebration of the work we all believe in. Let's make it count!
